About the Skeletal Collection
The Skeletal Collection is a series of black line drawings on watercolour by Raye. This series is inspired by movement and travel, exploring the various landscapes that Raye lived among during their creations. With a background in anatomy training, Raye's perceptions are often influenced by the rigidity of the structures which hold up life, and the flow of life that happens within them. The earlier pieces are done with fine tip pens, while the later pieces are created with calligraphy pens and ink.
